Pottery Cafe

Our Concept

Pottery Café, London, is a calm and relaxing studio space dedicated to the teaching and practising of wheel-thrown ceramics with attached café for gatherings and events.

Our goal with the palette throughout was to create a textually calm and refined space to allow the ceramic produce and items to decorate and saturate the café displays as pieces of art.

This is achieved through a refined selection of oak timber furniture and bespoke shelving pieces alongside a scattered ambient lighting strategy throughout to give an overall warmth.

The Pottery

The Pottery space includes facilities for all aspects of the process from wheel-throwing to glazing and a kiln for baking. The aesthetic and material choices are designed for functionality and simplicity, allowing flexibility of layout pivoted around the key work zones.
