Some of our clients were setting up new facilities across the world, and their senior engineering team would have to literally live on site for a number of days at a time. Frequently, the industrial sites were located away from urban centres, and they could not rely on external hospitality provisions. The asked us to design an in-house easily erectable sleeping unit, which could house one or two people directly on the workspace floor on inside one of the meeting rooms. After a couple of months the units would have to be disassembled and moved to a new location.
